Giant Propel with Campagnolo EPS

Giant Propel with Campagnolo EPS

We had the opportunity to build up a truly stunning aero road bike for a customer this month. For the frameset, he selected the Giant Propel Advanced SL Limited Edition and equipped it with Campagnolo’s Record EPS electronic groupset. For the cockpit, he chose Giant’s Contact SLR Aero Road Integrated Handlebars, a custom-made integrated Garmin mount and bar tape to match the brilliant light blue of the frame. For the wheelset, no expense was spared – Chris King road hubs laced to ENVE SES 6.7 rims with Continental Grand Prix 4000s tires. His saddle of choice is the Fizik Antares Versus. The pedals are Speedplay’s Light Action Titanium. And fittingly, the water bottle and cage is also aerodynamic thanks to Arundel’s Chrono model.

Our customer said, “This must be one of the most beautiful bikes that Belgainwerkx has built!” We agree.

  1. Looks amazing, I am about to do the same build.

One question, does it work well with the EPS internal battery?

    Thanks

    • EPS Propels work great, despite being EXTREMELY difficult to build.

  2. Really cool! Where is the battery mounted? In the seat post or the down tube?

  3. Beautifull build! What size is it? Which bartape did you use? Finally: Weight?

    Best Regards from Munich

  4. Where is the charge cable?
